This is a severe, stage IV contracture. The procedure took about 90 minutes.
This is the immediate result. The patient was fitted with a splint to help maintain the correction. The splint is worn at night.

This is the immediate result. Note that there are several small skin tears. Skin tears occur about 5% of the time overall, and are more common in severe, long-standing contractures. These skin tears did require band-aids for about 3 weeks.
